- Traditional e-learning (video) requires too much time and is no longer adapted
Solution & Objectives
Creation of a “Cleaning Essentials” module deployed on a VR headset, to complement the training program for housekeeping teams. This immersive training enables:
- The immersion in a Pierre & Vacances residence and application of the cleaning procedure step by step.
- Putting teams in playful situations
- The sharing of cleaning processes, gestures and postures
- Improved cleanliness compliance rates
- Saving time on training
- Improving customer satisfaction and cleanliness NPS
Results
- 86% clean compliance rate compared with 76% prior to POC launch
- 72% reduction in training time
- Clean NPS of 40 points in 2023
- 97% of learners selected 4/5 or 5/5 for the 5 satisfaction questions
- The most frequent comments were: “Immersive”, “Interesting”, “Simple”.
Deployment
- 40 “Pierre & Vacances” sites have purchased 44 VR headsets to train their employees and housekeeping staff.
